As part of the State of Michigan municipal finance requirements, the City of Wayne is providing information to the local community which provides a clear picture of the City's financial performance. 


 

Budget

The City’s fiscal year begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th.

Audit

A Financial Audit is conducted annually by an outside accounting firm.

Other Postemployment Benefits and Pension (Public Act 202)

As part of State of Michigan municipal finance requirements, the City of Wayne is providing OPEB and Pension Reports using audit and actuarial reports.

City, Village, Township Revenue Sharing/County Incentive Program (Public Act 107)

As part of State of Michigan municipal finance requirements, the City of Wayne is providing information to the local community; a Citizens’ Guide - which summarizes key financial trends broken down in several areas to show the City’s current fiscal health, and a Dashboard - which displays several measurements that provides a view of the overall quality of life trend in the community.
